European Polyphony and Modern Echoes Across the Atlantic
As part of the 2026 Festival of Chichester, the choir will be singing in the wonderful acoustic of Boxgrove Priory church. The concert has its foundation in unaccompanied choral music from the UK, continental Europe and North America.
With choral music spanning centuries of sacred and reflective repertoire, the concert will explore the shared choral heritage, from European polyphony to modern repertoire from both sides of the Atlantic.
The programme will include pieces by Clemens non Papa, Felix Mendelssohn, William Harris, Arvo Pärt, Bob Chilcott, Lucy Walker and Eric Whitacre.
